The Left Behind & Alone group of widows and widowers meets every third Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm in the chapel for a fun, encouraging time together.
Outside activities are a part of the event planning too. If you or someone you know is a widow(er) & would like to join us, please do! We don’t want you to feel alone.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Knit one … Pearl two … Clickety Click … Prayer Shawl Ministry gets together on the 1st Thursday of each month at 1 pm to knit, crochet, and enjoy fellowship. Many prayer shawls have been blessed and will continue to be taken to the recipients by their respective Deacons. If you know of someone who might benefit from being given a prayer shawl (or lap afghan), please tell one of the Deacons.
Bring your needles, hooks, yarn, and shawls. If you would like to learn to knit or crochet, we welcome you and will gladly teach you.
If you have any questions,
please contact
Phyllis Bishop (Pastor Jon’s wife) at 739-3713.
PS - there are now patterns for chemo hats that you can knit, crochet or sew and they will also be blessed and taken to the Falck Cancer Center where they will be given to persons undergoing chemotherapy.
